Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 March 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the AiDU platform at aidu-tech.com (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

AiDU is operated by AiDU Education (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms apply to all users, including teachers, school administrators, and any other authorized users.

2. Description of Service

AiDU is an AI-powered education platform that helps teachers:

  • Plan and generate lesson plans, assessments, and quizzes using AI
  • Manage classrooms and student rosters
  • Integrate with Google Classroom to sync courses, assignments, submissions, and grades
  • Export lessons as PDF, Word, or PowerPoint documents
  • Receive personalized teaching suggestions via Teacher Intelligence

We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts & Registration

  • You must provide a valid email address and create a password to register.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You must not share your account with others or create multiple accounts.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or authorized by your school to use AiDU as part of your professional role.
  • School administrators may need to approve your account before you can access all features.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use AiDU only for lawful educational purposes. You must not:

  • Use the Service to harm, harass, or discriminate against any person
  • Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content
  • Attempt to access other users' data or circumvent security controls
  • Use the AI features to generate content that is harmful, misleading, or inappropriate for educational settings
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service
  • Resell or redistribute AiDU features or content without permission
  • Enter sensitive student personal data (e.g., health records, social security numbers, home addresses) into free-text fields — AiDU is designed for classroom management, not student record keeping

5. Content Ownership & License

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to AiDU, including lesson plans, assessments, curriculum documents, and classroom data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you.

5.2 AI-Generated Content

Lessons, quizzes, and other materials generated by AiDU's AI features are provided for your use. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content for accuracy and appropriateness before using it in your classroom. AI outputs may contain errors.

5.3 Our Content

The AiDU platform, its design, code, documentation, and branding are the property of AiDU Education and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the platform itself.

6. Google Classroom Integration

If you connect your Google Classroom account to AiDU:

  • You authorize AiDU to access your Google Classroom data as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the authority to connect your school's Google Classroom account (e.g., you are a teacher or admin for those courses).
  • AiDU will sync data on a regular schedule. You can disconnect at any time from the LMS page or from your Google Account permissions.
  • We are not responsible for changes to Google's APIs, service availability, or data that Google may modify or delete.

AiDU's use of Google data is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. AI Features — Disclaimer

AiDU uses AI (powered by Anthropic Claude) to generate educational content. While we strive for high-quality outputs:

  • AI-generated content is provided “as is” and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or biases.
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating AI-generated material before using it with students.
  • AI outputs should not be treated as professional advice (legal, medical, psychological, etc.).
  • We do not guarantee that AI-generated lessons will meet specific curriculum requirements — they are a starting point for your professional judgment.

8. Privacy

Your use of AiDU is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using AiDU, you agree to both these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

9. Availability & Support

  • We aim to keep AiDU available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • We may perform maintenance with or without advance notice.
  • Support is provided via email. We will make reasonable efforts to respond promptly.

10. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Use the Service in a way that poses a security risk
  • Engage in abusive, fraudulent, or harmful behavior

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your access ceases and your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy (Section 8 — Data Retention).

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AiDU Education shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content
  • Data loss due to technical failures
  • Interruptions to Google Classroom sync
  • Unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to secure your credentials

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $100 if you have not paid anything).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AiDU Education from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AiDU Education is incorporated. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or the courts of that jurisdiction.
